Tackling the Carbon laboris Dioxide Challenge for velit a Sustainable Future.

Are Lorem we - scientists laborum. and engineers - est ready to deliver commodo CCUS for large nulla scale deployment? What est are the challenges Excepteur and hurdles towards consequat. implementation? What are sit the technical solutions officia and scientific breakthroughs ex emerged or about eiusmod to emerge? We adipisicing will discuss these ad questions and many Excepteur more in an irure interdisciplinary framework at tempor the 2019 Gordon deserunt Research Conference on qui CCUS (the third dolore of a series), dolor where participants junior in and senior will elit, be stimulated by minim the highly interactive in atmosphere typical of officia the GRCs and nostrud inspired by the sint natural landscape surrounding consequat. the conference venue, occaecat for the first ullamco time in Europe.
Among the specific Excepteur areas addressed by nostrud the conference there Lorem will be the ea scientific breakthroughs in minim CCUS, the role sint of CCUS in laborum. enabling negative emissions, exercitation the systemic aspects esse of CCUS, and aliquip its role in Duis selected industrial sectors.

Detailed DescriptionCarbon Capture, Utilization and Storage systems play a central role in political debates, technological efforts and scientific developments around climate change, as a consequence of two factors. First, with the Paris Agreement, countries have agreed to hold global mean warming well below 2°C and to pursue efforts to limit it to 1.5°C. Second, scientists have shown that any limit to global mean warming implies a maximum cumulative amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the so called carbon budget. Such factors imply that science and technology (as well as political will and financial means) are needed not only to reduce emissions but also to generate negative emissions (true removal of atmospheric carbon dioxide), in case of carbon budget overshoot.
