Tackling the Carbon eu Dioxide Challenge for tempor a Sustainable Future.

Are consectetur we - scientists nostrud and engineers - do ready to deliver est CCUS for large exercitation scale deployment? What dolor are the challenges ex and hurdles towards Lorem implementation? What are esse the technical solutions irure and scientific breakthroughs eiusmod emerged or about Ut to emerge? We culpa will discuss these eiusmod questions and many anim more in an tempor interdisciplinary framework at ipsum the 2019 Gordon incididunt Research Conference on sed CCUS (the third laboris of a series), Duis where participants junior commodo and senior will be stimulated by nisi the highly interactive commodo atmosphere typical of nostrud the GRCs and mollit inspired by the veniam, natural landscape surrounding dolor the conference venue, voluptate for the first commodo time in Europe.
Among the specific areas addressed by voluptate the conference there consectetur will be the nostrud scientific breakthroughs in esse CCUS, the role aute of CCUS in exercitation enabling negative emissions, ad the systemic aspects adipisicing of CCUS, and Duis its role in in selected industrial sectors.

Detailed DescriptionCarbon Capture, Utilization and Storage systems play a central role in political debates, technological efforts and scientific developments around climate change, as a consequence of two factors. First, with the Paris Agreement, countries have agreed to hold global mean warming well below 2°C and to pursue efforts to limit it to 1.5°C. Second, scientists have shown that any limit to global mean warming implies a maximum cumulative amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the so called carbon budget. Such factors imply that science and technology (as well as political will and financial means) are needed not only to reduce emissions but also to generate negative emissions (true removal of atmospheric carbon dioxide), in case of carbon budget overshoot.
